Nurture Your Pride - Pastor Henry

In this teaching, we learn that the validation in Matthew 17:5 was to help people recognize Christ and listen to Him, as Peter explained in 2 Peter 1:17-18.

So, how did Christ win the Father's approval? In Philippians 2:5-10, we learn about Christ's humility, obedience, honor-seeking, glorification-seeking, and prayer life.

By following Christ's example, we too can get the Father's approval and pride. Additionally, we must nurture our pride by knowing the Lord, as stated in Jeremiah 9:23-24.

To summarize, there are two things we should nurture - the approval from the Lord and our knowledge of the Lord. And the way to achieve this is by following Jesus's example.
